Privacy policy

This policy describes how WhichForecast for Excel (the Microsoft Excel add-in and the whichforecast.com service, operated by WhichForecast / NCU Technology) handles personal information.

Free analysis: time-series values you select in Excel are processed on your device inside the add-in. WhichForecast for Excel does not upload raw series for Free forecasts and does not require an account.

Pro: if you subscribe, we receive the email address and payment identifiers that Stripe processes. We do not store full card numbers.

Academic discount: school email (typically .edu or similar academic domains) when you request the student/instructor discount, so we can verify eligibility and email a one-time Stripe promotion code.

Live data (Pro): optional ticker requests are proxied by our API. We may log the symbol and timestamp, not your workbook.

Contact: support messages and academic-request records are kept as long as needed to reply. Email support@whichforecast.com to request deletion of records we control.
